Christmas Eve. For my daughters, along with millions of kids around the world, Christmas Eve means the night Santa makes his annual trek around the globe, dispensing toys and goodies to all the little children. They are primed and excited, awaiting with eagerness his arrival and their new found trove of stuff.
As a kid, I always loved Christmas Eve. My sister and I would get up in the wee hours of the morning, too excited to sleep, and sneak into the den to see what Santa had brought. We would play, trying to be quiet so as not to wake the parents, and have a good old time their in the darkness with all our new toys and gadgets.
Christmas should be an exciting time for those of us who are Christ-followers, should it not? It is the time when we celebrate, not only remember, but rejoice in the birth of our Lord and Savior. Truly, no greater gift has ever been given than the gift the Father gave us of his only Son.
I wanted to share a video with you. It is a song that I just recently heard, although it has been released for a few years now. It is titled, How Many Kings by Downhere. It has a beautiful message that fits perfectly with the Christmas message.
