Glenn sat at the kitchen table.  Absentmindedly fumbling at the brim of his coffee cup.  It had been a long day.  As he felt at this moment, it had been a long life.  He heard the phone ringing.  He decided to let the machine answer.  He closed his eyes and bowed his head; chin touching his chest.
